How to Photograph Wild Animals

This week Devizes Photography club had the pleasure of listening to David Boag’s humorous talk on ‘How to Photograph Wild animals’. David has been a photographer interested in natural history and wildlife for over 40 years, writing books and giving talks. David guesses that for many nature photographers the ultimate challenge is to photograph animal life in the wild.  It is a particularly difficult subject to discuss because every species is different and have different attributes. He shared with us his enthusiasm, techniques and field craft which he uses to get the best out of a shoot. while entertaining, his talk was informative and aimed at all levels of ability, with excellent images.  From bears to butterflies, underwater to in-flight - contrary to popular belief very little is beyond the ability of an enthusiastic amateur.
