Western Region Inter-Club Championship

On 2nd February 2025 48 clubs took part in the Western Counties Photographic Federation Inter-Club championship held at the Corn Exchange, Exeter.

After a long day of viewing pre-judged prints and PI’s with their marks, Devizes Photogrphy Club came equal 5th place with Bath Photographic Society in the PI section. Congratulations go to Tony Leach whose image ‘Cluster of Bonnets” was awarded full marks by all 3 judges 15/15 and to Gerald Clarke whose image ‘Reg Stag on a Misty Morning was awarded 14/15.

We must also thank our selection panel - Frank, Dave G and Penny who have spent many hours looking at over 1,000 images entered into club competitions in the last 12 months, to select our entry.

Barnstaple Camera Club won with a score of 223 points, 2nd Dorchester Camera Club 218 points, 3rd Bristol Photographic Club 217 Points, Truro Camera Club 214.

We are now looking at what entries will represent the club for the GB Cup.
