A Still Life Evening with Bridget & Penny
In a change to many of our meetings where members listen to wise words from experienced judges and photographers, the Devizes Photography Club last night held an evening of hands on, still life photography. We invited everyone to bring in their cameras and tripods, and experiment with taking images in differing lighting conditions, of about a dozen different setups, arranged with great skill by Bridget, Penny and Dave Eagle. Of the thirty or so members who came along, it will be fascinating to see the variety of images taken and how differently members saw the same scenes. Judging by the buzz in the hall, it proved to be a huge success, at the same time allowing many conversations helping each other out, and excellent that members were happy to step out of their usual genres, and get involved.
