Lead by Alan Benson who will be on hand to give hints and tips we intend to visit RSPB Slimbridge. We will have the opportunity to Photograph the resident, captive and migrating birds.

There is early admission for WWT members from 8am, so if you have WWT  membership, meet Alan at the gate at 8am, if you do not have membership, you can access the site from 9.30am , Alan will meet you at the cafe at 9.30 or shortly after. There should be lots of visiting birdlife to photograph- the latest sightings can be found here.

Cost £15.90 - Add 10% to £17.50 or more to your ticket purchase and they can claim 25% on the whole amount back from the government to help our work. For example, if you buy a ticket that costs £10, and you add £1, we can claim £2.75 from the government – so that’s £3.75 that’s supporting our conservation work. You do net to be a tax payer for this to apply.

Cost for over 65+ £14.31 or £15.75 (including donation)

You may want to consider WWT membership if you will visit Slimbridge or any of the WWT sites across the UK  more that 3 times a year as an annual membership is circa £50pa.

Travelling time from Devizes is 1 hour 10 minutes, so anyone wanting early access will be leaving at 6.45am and for the later entry leaving at 8.15 if anyone wants to lift share please let Caroline know and also what time you want to go in.
