This is run by Club Member Gerald Clarke and was one of the best attended events of last year. We will meet at Langford Lakes car Park at 9am and then have a few hours around the site photographing the wildlife. Gerald will be able to let you know what birds are present. It is also an opportunity to photograph some of the many tiny insects so remember your macro lens, a flash might be useful for macro if you have one, you may also want to bring a tripod or monopod. You will need a long lens, 300 - 400mm minimum if you want to photograph the birds. Gerald is also available to advise on camera settings and photo technique. We are able to spend the day here if we want to.
Admission to Langford Lakes is free
Refreshments - There is a cafe on site open from 10am - 4pm providing drinks, limited light lunches, cake, and also contains toilets. We will arrange a meet at the cafe at lunchtime and then you are free to decide if you want to stay for the afternoon.
