Guy Richie’s Compton Abbas Airfield is situated in the Cranborne Chase area of natural beauty with view over Shaftesbury and beyond. There are numbers of historic aircraft that can be seen. They have a lot on here and events are on at least once a month.
Something of interest might be the Legends golden Age of Aviation Airshow on 10th & 11th August with Arial Dispalys, vintage Aircraft and a celebration of aviation history. Tickets are on sale now for £39.50. Gates open at 10 am on the Saturday and 11am on the Sunday.
