Brownsea Island

A group of six Devizes Photography Club members visited  Brownsea Island in Poole harbour.in September The weather was very kind, with bright sunshine all day.We travelled down in two cars and met on Poole Quay for the short boat trip to the Island. Once on the island we split up to explore what the island had to offer. The beautiful Red Squirrels were very active….possibly too active as they are very fast and difficult to capture on the camera. The lagoon around the island was fairly quiet although we were able to capture some of the birdlife from the hides facing the lagoons especially the many Redshank who were close to the hide.
