Advancing your Textures

Joining us by Zoom last night Jane Lazenby BA(hons) fine art, LRPS, DPAGB, BPE5, AWPF, FMPA, EFIAP/s gave us an action packed evening on making and adding textures to images. Jane’s textures are made from all sorts of surfaces found around her home, garden and garage!

No mist in a landscape image? No problem, add some mist as a texture!

Busy background Hide it with a texture!

Looking for a Rembrandt or painterly finish? Add a texture!

In the second half Jane gave us a hands-on demonstration of how she creates some of her textures and uses them in her fine art images, sometimes using multiple textures in one image.
