The sun should rise at the top of the flight of locks, The sunrises at 6.05 am so we should be there by 5.30 am This is the optimum date but It may be possible to capture this on either 21st March or 23rd March , so I will let you know closer to the day which will be  the most likely to work with the weather  - we need clear skies and possibly a touch of mist. Caroline will look to arrange car sharing for this as there is very limited parking at the bottom of the locks and this is usually taken up by boaters who are living in the area, so if you are interested in this event let Caroline.
